Terms & Conditions

Last updated 29 September 2026

These terms

These terms cover your use of the The Dance Collective website and parent portal. Using the site means you accept them. They are not the studio's class policies — those are the separate documents you sign when you enrol a dancer.

Your account

You need an account to enrol a dancer or see your billing. Keep your password to yourself, give us details that are accurate, and tell us when they change — a wrong email address or phone number is how families end up missing things that matter.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think somebody else has got into it.

Enrolling and being billed

Asking for a place in a class is a request, not a booking. The studio confirms it, and confirming is what creates the charge. Until then nothing is owed and nothing is taken.

Fees, plans and any discounts are as shown in your account at the time. Payments are handled by Stripe. Cancelling a place goes through the studio, on the terms in the class policies you signed.

SMS Terms

By giving us your phone number when you create an account, you agree to receive text messages from The Dance Collective about your account. These are service messages, not marketing: the message we send is a link to finish setting up your account.

  • Message frequency varies, and is usually a single message when you sign up.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrolling a dancer or of any purchase. If you would rather not have them, tell us and we will reach you by email or telephone instead.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with everything else.

Using the site sensibly

Do not try to reach accounts or records that are not yours, do not attempt to break or overload the site, and do not use it to upset anybody. We may suspend an account being used this way.

What we can and cannot promise

We work to keep the site running and its information correct, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable or never contain a mistake. Where something here is wrong — a schedule, an invoice — tell us and we will correct it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after that means the new version applies.
